You always say you hate to see me hurt, and you hate to see me cry.
So all those times that you hurt me, did you close your eyes?

so im back to listening to sappy love songs,
and reading up on emo-shit love/heartbreak/whatever quotes...

... which is so not me.

the last time i felt this way? exactly four years ago.

so i've slowly learnt to adopt the "whatever" attitude which revolves around my personal life.

- i've stopped bringing my handphone anywhere i go.
- i'll have it switched off when i feel like it.
- it took me two attempts to blog this entry.
- i dont feel like going to bed even though im working at 9am later.

work has been good, really.
all i think of when im at work, are those people who ask me silly questions such as,

"do you have milk in your cappucinno?" and "can i have one valinna latte?"
happy, happy.

wait. i think the "whatever" attitude has gone a bit too far.

1 year 10 months.

but why am i cringing in pain.
when is this phase going to end?

go figure.

the day was spent with raihan and the boy.

free meal at delifrance plaza by the park,
lepak session at esplanade,
free drinks at starbucks centrepoint,
hazelnut classic ice cocoa at starbucks cathay,
ten minutes lepak session at my workplace...

... suffice to say, my day was almost perfect today.

the boy and i walked around aimlessly after raihan left at eleven,
talking about redundant topics not worth to be talked about (:
and since i'll be working the afternoon shift later,
it's worth spending the night out with him.

so we cabbed back home, because my pay was wow wow weeeee,
and i decided to order mcdelivery upon reaching a few hundred metres away from home.

i had to ask the operator to repeat the total amount of my filet-o-fish meal.

operator: so your total will be $10.05.
me: sorry? how much was it again?
operator: $10.05, miss mira.

so being someone who's good with mental sums and remembering people's mobile numbers,
i calculated the various factors which made up to my $10.05.

and i went wtf.

it's hard to live nowadays, taking into consideration the rising cost of living in Singapura, tanah airku.

he taught me life not by words,
but by how he lived his.

i wish you were born into another family, as selfish as i seem to be.

so yesterday, i was placed in-charge of promotion execution.
this was my first time revamping the whole retail wall and things like that,
so i was kind of hyped up.
