i have no idea which word describes me best.
nonchalant, or ignorant?
along the lines, i guess.
so, the F1 race has started yesterday.
three weeks back, i remembered the SB partners making a big hoohaa about this supposedly superb event.
sam even said, "wah. can see the hot girls waving flags."
i think he was referring to this:
i can so imagine their orders.
a tall coffee frappucino light blended coffee.
or even a decaf tall half-pump sugar-free vanilla soy cappucino.
ok, im sidetracking.
anyway, i dont think i care so much about the F1 race.
i have this perception that i wont be affected by it, or get involved with anything associated with it.
so last night, after a wonderful dinner at mad jack and sinful ice cream at island creamery with diy, we decided to cab home.
which, sadly, to our dismay, none were available.
we walked from bukit timah to newton (yes! beat that on a heavy tummy),
and maybe we'll have an easier access to cabs there.
but no, we had to call-a-taxi.
which equaled to a whooping $3.50 extra on the meter.
and my taxi came ten minutes after diy's cab left.
i was quite pissed, but the driver was an unbelievably nice uncle, who explained to me why he was late.
easy reason: stuck in a jam, near the F1 venue.
he was also telling me that there were 70 people queuing up for cabs at millenia walk taxi stand,
and people were jammed up along the streets of orchard...
...all flagging down cabs (which were either taken or on call).
which only means one thing for me.
to just stay home and finish up my lesson plans (amira procrastinator!).
F1 cepatla abes. i dont like crowded places :(
